ARCDocs Search Tips

1.
Search by Category, Group or Document Type

  • When you know precisely what you want, using "Group" plus "Document Type" provides the most effective results.

    For example:

    • Selecting "Administrative Leadership Council (ALC)" + "Agendas" will display all ALC agendas.

  • When you’re not sure of a document name, you may prefer to view all documents for a particular Group, or all documents of a particular Document Type.

    For example:

    • Selecting only "Leadership" displays all documents related to all Leadership groups.
    • Selecting "Leadership" + "Administrative Leadership Council (ALC)" displays all documents related to the ALC.
    • Selecting "Leadership" + "Agendas" displays all agendas for all Leadership groups.
    • Selecting only "Agendas" displays all agendas for all groups.

NOTE: You may further refine your search by providing a date range (for example, from 01/01/2009 to 12/31/2009).

2.
Search by Title

You may type a single search word that you think may be in the document title (such as "smoking" or "PES" without the quote marks) and click the Search button. Note that the actual title of the document may not be exactly the same as your search word ("PES" instead of President’s Executive Staff"), so try more than one possibility.
